The Founder
Aaron McCormack is a CTO, entrepreneur, and lifelong surfer from Carlsbad, California. He's been on the ocean since before he could walk, and started surfing with his dad at 9 years old. Today, he's a husband, father, and passionate advocate for the ocean and outdoor communities.
Based in Canton, Georgia, Aaron regularly returns home to Carlsbad to surf with his family and friends. Over the years, he's surfed across California, Mexico, Florida, South Carolina, and Hawaii, always chasing the next swell and reading the ocean like a book.
Beyond surfing, Aaron is an avid fisherman and weather enthusiast who loves reading the ocean's patterns. This deep connection to the water, combined with his expertise in AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure, inspired him to build Surf Watcher as a way to give back to his lifelong passion.
